Country Pioneers

Sunday, March 29th, Country Pioneers started their meeting at 2:04 P.M. The meeting flowed smoothly while Laurel Huggins and John Lechler led each pledge. Future fundraisers were discussed as long with t-shirt money and designs. It was easy to adjust with Garrett Beasley as the President, Ruby Lechler as the Secretary, Lily Lawrentz as the Historian, Hannah Circle as Treasurer, Hazel Lechler as Recreational leader, and Lyla Beasley as Reporter! Our 4-H Co-Advisor Natasha Beasley talked about how Quality Assurance was on the horizon. As every kid in 4-H dreams of fair week, everyone was happy when they announced that on May 2nd we get to start our journey with Tag In. Hazel Lechler our Recreational Leader hosted a wonderful, fun-filled activity along side our Advisor Angel Mohler with her educational activities. We are all proud to say that we're excited for our 4-H meeting on April 22nd. On Sunday March 29th, Country Pionners 4-H meeting was ended at 3:32 P.M!
Kid Konnection

Kid Konnection had a meeting on March first. At this meeting we discussed community service projects we plan to do this year, such as filling blessing boxes with meals and recipe cards. We also had a guest, Barbie Muser. Miss Muser Told us about our local food pantry and what we can do to help. Miss Muser informed us that we can help pack meal bags and/or we can help deliver the bags to the families. We can also donate food such as canned goods, milk, bread, fruits, and vegetables. Our next meeting will be held on April 5th at one o'clock at Meigs elementary school.
Next Generation

On Monday, February 16th the Next Generation 4-H Club held their second meeting at advisor Mehgan Avis' house. There were 10 members in attendance, including two advisors. Club officers were elected, and there were two new additions to the club as well. Decoration ideas for the club booth and trash can were brainstormed, and the club decided that they will delve deeper into ideas at the next meeting. The meeting came to an end and the members stayed for a while to play air hockey and basketball. 1-30-26 First 4Fun 4-H Club meeting of the year was held at the Tuppers Plains Chester Water Department Building in Chester, Ohio. The meeting was called to order by Paige Smith, the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Gia Jenkins, 4-H pledge led by Blake Smith. Roll call was called to order by Zoey Barnhart. The Treasures report was given by Shaylee Russell. The old business given by Paige Smith consisting of a recap of fair including our 2nd place booth, Quilts of Valor, float and handing out awards and books from the past fair. The new business given by Paige Smith. Members elected new officers. The new officers were elected, President Janelle Lemler, Vice President Gabriel Folmer, Secretary/News Reporter Peyton Richmond and Paige Smith, Treasure Gabby Lind, Health and safety Kenzie and Bryce Casto, Shutterbug Sophia Shaw and Eli Circle. We discussed our next meeting will be held February 22 at 2pm at the Rutland Bottle Gas building at the fairgrounds. Kid Konnection

Kid Kennection had its first meeting of 2026 on January 11. Club officer elections were held with the following results: president Maverick Lisle, Vice President Easton Williams, Secretary Luke Enright, Tresure Colt Enright, and News Reporter Ivy McClain. Kid Kennection club members shopped for citizens of the Meals on Wheels program together at Walmart at Christmas time as one of their community service projects for the year. They also delivered activity books and hygiene products to the elderly at Overbrook Senior Citizens Home which were collected through the Bubbles of Kindness project. The club plans to pack and deliver meal kits to the community blessing boxes around the county, as well. The next Kid Konnection club meeting is scheduled for February 1, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
