- Older youth age 14 to 18 who plan to serve as camp counselors in the current year are invited to Making eXtreme Counselors (MXC)--an interactive and quick-paced training that offers innovative camp ideas to new and veteran camp counselors. MXC participants will leave with skills that will enable them to assist in their county's camp program planning and delivery, and prepare them to deliver a great camp program to their campers.

- Teen Winter Retreat is a fun-filled overnight adventure where you can relax and spend time with 4-H friends from across southeastern Ohio.

March 14-15, 2026
- Counselor College is open to any teen, 14 -18 years of age, who would like to be a camp counselor.
- Sessions are based on years of counseling experience and represent the 15 camping core standards set forth by the Ohio State Extension 4-H camping program.
- Classes will consist of some required sessions along with some electives!
- All sessions are interactive and hands-on. Come ready to participate, meet new friends from all over Ohio, learn new skills, and have fun!

Payments can be submitted online via credit card, or mailed to Highland County OSU Extension, 526 John St. Hillsboro, OH 45133. Payments must be recieved by the registration deadline.
- This overnight camp is open to youth in Grades 3-6. It is a great chance for campers to check out camp, make new friends and experience camp. Campers will participate in a campfire, hiking, recreation, and much more!
