Michelle has been connected to 4-H & Extension since she joined Jackson County 4-H as a 9 year old.  Her varied Extension career has included working as an office assistant in Jackson County, volunteering with Jackson County 4-H and Tennessee 4-H, interning with Sevier County Extension in Tennessee and working for North Carolina Cooperative Extension for 4 years before coming back to the southern Ohio area.  She also taught high school agricultural science and biotechnology in North Carolina for 2 years.  In Ohio, she serves on the STEM Pathways Signature Program Design Team and is very happy to be able to work with 4-H Campers at her childhood camp site, Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp.  Michelle graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BS and MS in Agriculture & Extension Education.  Go Vols!
